About me
Hey I’m Ashleigh, a Leeds-based creative with a background in Fine Art, working across digital illustration, oil painting, and bespoke window painting. My practice combines strong visual storytelling, confident use of colour, and expressive mark-making, allowing me to create work that is both engaging and adaptable across a range of creative contexts.
I graduated with a 2:1 BA (Hons) Fine Art from Leeds Arts University, where I developed a flexible and concept-driven approach to making. My studies encouraged experimentation across both traditional and digital processes, strengthening my ability to develop ideas from initial concept through to finished outcome while working to deadlines and professional standards.
Originally from Harrogate and now based in Leeds, I often draw inspiration from everyday spaces, architecture, and familiar environments. This is reflected in my digital prints and illustrations, which reimagine places and scenes through simplified forms, layered textures, and vibrant colour palettes. Alongside this, my painting practice explores more intuitive and abstract approaches, focusing on mood, movement, and surface.
Alongside my studio work, I create custom window paintings for clients, producing bold, eye-catching designs for public-facing spaces. These projects have strengthened my ability to interpret briefs, collaborate with clients, and deliver work that is visually impactful while aligned with brand identity and audience engagement.
